“I Miss You Mum And Dad” – a poem written by an amazing 25 year old young lady with whom I have been having the privilege to work with since March. I publish it here with her permission. She is on a profound healing journey with the assistance of homeopathy and counselling combined.

I miss you mum and dad.

Yet although I do, I cannot forgive you.

I love you mum and dad.

Yet although I do, I cannot forgive you.

Instead, I give you my compassion.

For the traumas that you have experienced.

For the ways in which they have shaped you.

For the decisions you have made.

I cannot change my experiences.

I cannot forget my traumas.

Instead, I seek to remove the power that they hold over me.

To let go of the debilitating anxiety

To let go of the endless fear.

I must learn to reshape my truth.

To discover my courage.

To discover my strength.

In letting go I venture on a journey.

Towards acceptance.

To find my peace within.
